- Small estate limit: $50,000 (Affidavit for Collection of Personal Property of Decedent (form P-110), AS 13.16.680). Does not cover real estate. Heirs wait 30 days after the death. Personal property other than vehicles up to $50,000, less debts and liens, plus Alaska-registered vehicles up to $100,000, less debts and liens (separate cap).
